Once an order has been placed goods can normally be dispatched for delivery within seven working days. We will contact you after receiving your order to arrange a specific delivery date to suit you. Deliveries are made directly from Ca’ Pietra’s warehouse in Devizes, Wiltshire to your address.

Most deliveries are between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm, Monday – Friday except Bank Holidays. Unfortunately, we are not able to give a more precise time slot than this and we cannot guarantee delivery dates and times as these may be affected by circumstances outside our control. For this reason we are unable to accept responsibility for lost working time and therefore recommend goods are ordered well in advance of any project start dates.

Most orders are packed onto pallets which will be delivered on a large 18-tonne lorry directly onto a hardstanding kerbside location only. Therefore, it is important that any restricted access details (such as overhanging trees, steep gradients, gravel driveways etc) are advised prior to your order being placed.  The consignment will be unloaded, at the driver’s discretion, to the nearest, safely accessible point to the property; this may be on the drive or at the kerbside. We may be able to accommodate restricted locations using a specific type of vehicle. Please speak to us in advance to discuss your requirements.

The delivery driver cannot help handle the goods, so it is essential for you to arrange for a responsible individual to be present. Somebody must be available to accept, sign for and safely store the goods as required. If there is no one available to accept the delivery, we will make contact with you to re-arrange delivery and a re-delivery charge will apply. Unfortunately, the driver is not insured, and therefore not able to, breakdown pallet deliveries, unpack products or move them from the place of delivery. The delivery driver cannot take away packaging or any empty pallets. Orders will be shrink wrapped for protection, but please try to move the materials undercover as soon as possible to avoid damage by frost or rain. Once unloaded the goods are the responsibility of the site team.

Once an order has been dispatched from the Ca’ Pietra warehouse the order is unable to be amended. Therefore, please double check all delivery dates, addresses and items are correct prior to dispatch. Please consider the weight and size of your delivery as tiles can be heavy and precautions may need to be made in order to accept the delivery.

All orders must be checked carefully on delivery. Please take a photo of any damages whilst on the pallet prior to unloading, and along with any shortages or other discrepancies they must be noted on the delivery note and reported to DeVal Tiles within 24hrs of the delivery. Your delivery may have extra or broken tiles which are additional to your ordered quantity. These are normally left in to brace the other tiles and will be noted on your delivery note.

Please take caution when removing all packaging to avoid damages and injury. Please assess the weight of any boxes of tiles as they can be heavy, so precautions may need to be made. Care also needs to be taken when unpacking all stone tiles as spacers may need to be removed from the packaging before the tiles are lifted out. Tiles should always be stacked and stored vertically (on edge) but not on a hard surface as this causes unnecessary edge chipping.
